Our Culture and Inclusion Executive Council
The Culture and Inclusion Executive Council of American Water serves as a recommending body and liaises with other business functions to promote trust, dignity and respect. Every employee of the company is respected for who they are as an individual and for our collective differences as a team. Based on internal and external research and best practices, the council makes recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team for consideration and approval. Once approved, council members collaborate with appropriate groups (e.g., human resources, culture champions, business leaders, internal communications, etc.) to implement and/or execute.
